The Bendigo Golf Club Board and Management is excited to launch and open the 2023 Christmas Challenge.

The 2023 event will run from Thursday 7 December to Sunday 10 December.

This year’s edition will again be headlined by the Andrew Johnston 4BBB event on the Saturday.

A Ladies 4BBB event will kick things off on the Thursday, followed by a 2 Player Ambrose event on the Friday, and the four-day event will then conclude with a Par 3 Challenge event on the Sunday.

All four events in 2023 will be pairs team events in line with the club’s new events strategy.

The re-launched Annual Tournament (March) focuses on individual player events, whilst the Seasonal Ambrose events provide 4 player team opportunities across the year, leaving the annual Christmas Challenge event to be aimed at pairs team events.

Details of the two new events.
– A 2 Player Ambrose event is scheduled for the Friday and will include Men’s, Ladies and Mixed competitions.
– A Par 3 Challenge event will take place on the Sunday that will involve a Pairs Stableford Aggregate competition around the shortened course.

All four days will include quality food, drinks and prizes, whilst players strive to win the prestigious Andrew Johnston 4BBB Perpetual Trophy or one of the amazing hams from Bertocchi smallgoods.

The Club encourages all Members to reach out to visiting golfers, family and friends to help support the event.
