Peter Rothacker stood firm to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard to win the 2018 Winter Trophy, only a week or so after daughter, Sharni Rothacker won the Lady Captains Trophy.
Going into the final round as equal leader with Anthony Woodman, Peter held his nerve to card a nett 75, but more importantly he was able to drop off his only poor round of 82 to win the trophy by one shot from the fast finishing Mark Lewis. Mark had a great final round of 69 nett and took home the Monthly Medal in the process.
